R.E.D Landscapes began in 2011 with a focus on the urban land development industry. The goal of R.E.D is to provide quality landscape works with an expert capabilty for the increasing environmental rehabilitation and water quality improvement works required by sub-divisions. 

 

Gerard Miscamble - In 1990, after undertaking Horticulture at TAFE, Gerard started as a landscape maintenance and installation overseer for a developer with 4 projects. In 1991, he started his own Landscape and professional lawn care firm, remaining contracted to the same developer. Gerard has worked within the urban development arena ever since, servicing developers, builders and commercial projects. Specialising in the subdivisional area he has been meeting the needs of development conditioned by local government, streetscape. parkland, wetland, open space, fauna corridor & environmentally sensitive areas. Gerard has a solid understanding and ability to meet the requirements, priorities and needs of development that has seen some client relationships remain to date, over 20 years now.

Gerards focus has alway been providing best business practice, prompt professional service and consultation with sound advice to value add to the clients project while directing the expenditure for the most gain.

 

Claire Purcell - Completed a Bachelor degree in Agricultural Science at the University of Queensland, specialising is soil science and plant nutrition. After graduation, Claire worked for a not-for-profit community environmental organisation for 8 years training long term unemployed in work skills and environmental rehabilitation and setting up a business unit to conduct commercial environmental works.

In mid 2008 Claire moved to a commercial landscape firm managing environmental rehabilitation, landscape installation and maintenance works. Claire has worked both as a site supervisor and project manager resulting in having a solid understanding of project requirements from both perspectives. Her specialty is bush regeneration and revegetation with a particular passion for plant identification and targeted effective weed control.
